Donny Duetch lost his spot because of a segment he did on how cable news hosts are doing more entertainment than real journalism. Deutch just lost his new job because he added Olbermann to a reel that also included O'reilly screaming at Geraldo, Glenn Beck doing his thing, and Rush. He had a panel of three on, most of which who agreed with him. Adding to the argument for MSNBC's firing of him; one of Duetch's panelists, radio host Hugh Hewitt, called Olbermann and another fellow employee, Ed Schultz, “the biggest hate-mongers in television."
Is it right for MSNBC to remove him from his position for what seemed to be an attempt to accomplish a balanced presentation?

I don't believe that some of the organizations have any interest at all in passing along the real news about anything.
Cable news has a huge influence in the thoughts of the people in this country. You have MSNBC that swings to the left, Fox News to the right and in MY opinion, CNN which comes as close to the center as possible.
As far as MSNBC removing Duetch for going after Olbermann in a segment that included people like Beck and O'Reilly....well that’s just ridiculous. But I can almost guarantee you that if some journalist went after O'Reilly on Fox, they would probably never be seen on that network again.
Fox calls themselves "Fair and Balanced" but that has to be one of the biggest jokes on any "news" channel. Fox jerks off the right and the tea baggers (one in the same almost) and MSNBC does the same for the left (just nowhere near as much as Fox with the right, again in my opinion).
Yeah, it is funny how the facts are always swayed by our opinions!! Typically we will only look at the facts that seem to benefit our view. This is the same for these 'News' organizations, they have their agenda's, and they will do what they feel is in their best interest.
A local radio station here in Phoenix which is geared to the younger, hip-hop/rap crowd is talking about how this law is "racsist" as a part of one of their advertising campaigns, as if it is factual and not their opinion.
Just keep in mind that everyone has their agenda, always.
